About Smart Infrastructure – Electrification and Automation:

The Electrification and Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing into our Future Grids portfolio and applications to create the power distribution grid of the future. Our comprehensive portfolio meets the growing technical requirements of today’s and tomorrow’s power grid!

We are looking for a Team Lead - LV MCC Electrical Engineering. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.

Siemens is looking for highly qualified and energetic Team Lead Engineer for its LV Motor Control Center (MCC) team.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support LV Management team help improve processes, quality, output and help develop a positive culture within the team.

• Support onboarding, mentoring, and training new hires OE and interns.

• Ensure technical growth of Order Engineering team.

• Lead efforts to improve team processes and tools to drive up overall team efficiency and quality.

• Support continues training to increase technical capability in the team and provide feedback to the manager on progress.

• Be a contact point for technical escalations from the factories and customers.

• An estimate of 30-40% of time will still be dedicated to work on normal Order Engineering functions working on order execution and the rest of the time dedicated to team lead activities.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar.

• 3+ years of proven experience working with the design/configuration of LV Motor Control Centers.

• Strong emotional intelligence, and excellent people and soft skills.

• Strong work ethic and willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

• Demonstrated experience mentoring junior engineers with effective knowledge sharing techniques.

• Proven track record of innovative thinking and process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiar with Siemens LV & MV solutions

• Previous work experience leading or managing a team.

• The pay range for this position is $81,130 - $139,080. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
