Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a fine-dining Executive Chef to manage culinary operations for the Doctor’s Dining at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake located in Webster, TX. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience showcasing culinary masterpieces with a background working in country clubs and/or fine-dining restaurants.

What You'll Do
develops creative and exciting menu products for the Doctor's Dining Lounge;
ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

What You Bring
heavy production experience with a strong culinary background working in country clubs and/or fine dining, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends;
excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards;
strong coaching and employee development skills; and/or
have a passion for food and innovation.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
