Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with disabilities in special class settings

  • Able to assist students with personal care (including toileting), academic, and behavioral needs in grades K - 12

    • Graduation from High School or possession of a High School Equivalency Diploma
  • Demonstrate ability to support academic and behavioral needs of student

  • Good communication/ organizational skills for working with students, teachers, parents and co-workers

  • Must have prior experience working with children

  • Establish a positive, safe and clean environment

  • Responsible for supervising and assisting students

  • Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to help support students' positive behavioral expectations
