*POSITION DUTIES: * The business systems analyst is responsible for analyzing complex data processing problems to enhance system capabilities and improving client workflow. The analyst will review and improve existing computer systems that clients use and provide expert guidance on systems issues. Specific duties of the business systems analyst include: Gather customer requirements and perform analyses and profiling to establish technical requirements; Serve as main point of contact for systems changes and access to systems data; Use Data Warehouse and other relational databases as well as BI Query or SQL to investigate data issues; Perform regular maintenance and update functions as required, including developing testing plans for data quality issues; Contribute to backend web application development when needed to resolve client issue; Identify third-party products that can provide solutions to client requirements and coordinate with vendors; Create systems designs and accompanying documentation using best practices; Develop, perform, and review systems and integration tests to provide reports for clients and other teams.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. 48 months of experience in computer systems analysis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Employer requires experience in using Microsoft Power BI Query or SQL, Tableau, and JIRA. Employer also requires familiarity with Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System (T-MSIS) through prior experience.
*RATE OF PAY: * $125,611 Annually
