Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are searching for a general production worker to join our team across all three shifts. This position involves handling a variety of our carbon steel products such as tubing, snow plow edges, bar products, sheet products and plating products, ranging from small custom parts to large components. Key tasks include picking product from order sheets, operating saws to measure and cut materials to specs, prepping products for shipment, and washing parts. You may also be responsible for operating an overhead crane for handling heavy materials. Previous experience with an overhead crane is essential for safety reasons.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a spacious warehouse environment with 30 to 35 employees. The setup ensures that workers are not in close proximity to each other. The facility includes a large steel storage area, a shipping/receiving area, and various production equipment such as large saws, brake presses, burn tables, welding areas, and CNC machines. There are several large overhead cranes and forklifts for moving products across the facility. For safety reasons, workers are required to wear hard hats, safety glasses, long pants, hearing protection, and steel toe boots.
