Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled machine operator to join our team on 1st or 2nd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks in the Punch and Shear & Saw department, ensuring the machines are calibrated, maintained, and operated efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate the machine before production begins.

• Ensure the machines are regularly checked and cleaned.

• Feed raw materials into semi-automated machines and assist the assembly line.

• Prioritize tasks to meet scheduling demands.

• Load and unload materials from trucks and within the shop as needed.

• Properly use assigned personal protective equipment.

• Ensure the proper use of equipment and execution of projects.

• Monitor and control machine performance and settings.

• Inspect machinery with appropriate tools.

• Gain hands-on experience with machine operating and production lines.

• Learn to operate different machines and processes involved in production.

• Troubleshoot and fix any issues or malfunctions that may occur.

• Perform all job duties while adhering to company safety policies.

• Perform all assigned activities to support business objectives and needs.

Essential Skills

• 1-2+ years of experience operating machines.

• 1+ years of experience operating fabrication equipment, punch machines, shear, and saw operations.

Work Environment

This position is for the 1st shift at our Waunakee location. The hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The workplace is equipped with the necessary machinery and tools, and employees are expected to follow a safety dress code and use personal protective equipment as required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Waunakee, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38000.00 - $53000.00/yr.
