Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
The Material Handler will be responsible for the loading and unloading of heavy parts, using sit-down forklifts to transport large metal parts throughout the production floor. They will also be responsible for rigging parts as well as securing large parts to trucks for shipment.
Responsibilities
Loading and unloading heavy parts using sit-down forklifts
Transporting large metal parts throughout different areas of the production floor
Rigging of parts
Securing large parts to trucks for shipment
Labeling parts for shipment
Inspecting and packaging parts for shipment
Documenting inventory levels and shipments in the computer
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of sit-down forklift experience with large parts
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of 10-20 ton overhead crane experience
Willingness to learn rigging

Work Environment
The work environment includes a large manufacturing setting, with a requirement for steel-toed shoes and hearing protection. The position is for the 3rd shift, from 10 pm to 6 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00/hr.
