GENERAC POWER SYSTEMS Maintenance Technician in WAUKESHA, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 12:00 PM-8:30 PM, Friday 10:00 AM- 6:30 PM Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our Corporate Office in Waukesha. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing HVAC emergency, routine, and preventive maintenance, including changing filters and belts, while maintaining a safe work environment and effectively communicating with team members. Additionally, this role involves training employees and supporting the R&D Lab with daily problem-solving, quick fixes, and preventive maintenance. The Maintenance Technician I will also assist in various general facilities maintenance tasks as needed. Key Responsibilities: Perform HVAC equipment inspections, preventive maintenance (PMs), filter changes, and belt replacements (most other HVAC work will be outsourced). Conduct water testing (training provided). Assist with general facilities repairs, including painting, wallpaper repair, and bathroom fixture repairs. Support office relocations by moving and disposing of office and conference room furniture. Maintain facility cleanliness inside and outside, including trash and recycling removal and management. Perform snow removal, grass cutting, trimming, landscaping, and cleanup. Ensure parking lot cleanliness and perform necessary maintenance. Conduct painting tasks, including cleaning and prepping surfaces. Fill in for other facilities personnel as needed and assist with overhead doors, rooftop units, and other facility maintenance functions. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferably an HVAC Certificate/Degree or Associate\'s in Maintenance. 0-2 years of experience in HVAC maintenance. Ability to think outside the box, self-motivated, trustworthy, and willing to work in a dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in facilities maintenance. Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, or carpentry work.
