Job Title: Foreman
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, particularly in new construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing various smaller construction sites, ensuring that all carpentry and construction tasks are performed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Self-perform work including steel stud framing, wood carpentry, and concrete.
Hang and install hardware doors.
Have a good knowledge of layouts and how interior finishes tie together.
Cut boards with circular saws.
Utilize math and calculations for precise measurements.
Essential Skills
3+ years' carpentry experience in commercial or residential settings.
Proficient in installing doors and windows.
Valid driver's license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with finishing, using saws, nail guns, and other construction tools.
Ability to work with steel studs, wood, and concrete.
Knowledge of commercial construction practices.

Work Environment
You will be working on smaller construction job sites in teams of 3-10. The typical work hours are from 7am to 4pm, although this may fluctuate based on project needs. If working on the road, longer days may be required. The dress code includes jeans, t-shirts or sweatshirts, and leather work boots.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waterloo, Iowa.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
