Position Specification
Role Title: Corporate Senior Accountant
Reports to: Global Corporate Accounting Manager
Location: Waterloo, IA
Travel: Limited. Between Waterloo, IA and Blaine, MN
This role has an expectation to be in-office 3 days per week.

Overview:
CPM Holdings, Inc, is looking for a successful candidate who is engaging, proactive and eager to take on new challenges as a team player. Attention to detail and accuracy is required. Organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation, conflict management skills and a continuous learning attitude are also required. Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally to internal and external stakeholders. Some domestic and international travel may be required.
Primary Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (Active or Inactive)
Demonstrated understanding of US GAAP
3-5 Years of related experience in accounting, financial reporting and internal controls
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in public accounting (audits of global enterprises) and/or experience in corporate accounting department of a global enterprise
ERP system experience (SAPB1 or similar)
Graduate degree in an applicable field
Financial controls and automation system experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct corporate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
Prepare global multi-currency consolidating financial statements and other consolidating reports
Maintain the corporate general ledger and support business unit controllers with local general ledgers
Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations in Blackline
Oversee US daily banking transactions and prepare cash reconciliation
Assist business unit controllers with month-end close and financial reporting for their business units
Assist in preparation of interim and year-end external audit requests
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in accounting processes and internal controls
Assist business unit controllers with adhering to corporate accounting policies and application of US GAAP
Participation on global corporate projects as directed
