Who is the Mastercard Academy?

Mastercard Academy was established over 30 years ago to help our customers and partners gain the knowledge, skills and insights needed to succeed in the world of payments.

Through our range of open courses, live events, remote learning and extensive library of resources we provide an extensive range of training and education which help develop and accelerate skills, knowledge and expertise on Mastercard and the payment industry.

Role:

The Mastercard Academy team in Europe is looking for a dynamic and creative individual to actively contribute to the success of the Academy’s learning solutions. This role involves collaborating closely with the Academy team and trainers from various departments to support the successful remote learning content creation, production and delivery of live events (webinars) through our learning platform, Academy on the Web.

In this client-facing position, you will be part of a team responsible for managing the end-to-end process of numerous webinars and training events as well as responsible of the development of remote learning content.

Your responsibilities will include handling invitations, managing registrations, organising trainer rehearsals, providing customer platform support (Adobe Connect, Zoom, MS Teams), offering design support (PowerPoint, videos, quizzes, polls), and conducting event evaluations. This role provides wide exposure across the Mastercard business and offers an opportunity to gain valuable insights into the payments industry. Your responsibilities will also include the support remote learning content development, including creating learning paths, developing SCORM files, and designing micro courses.

The ideal candidate is passionate about customer engagement and experience, highly motivated in shaping and maintaining a visually impactful and memorable brand presence, attentive to detail, and intellectually curious.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Creativity in content creation and video editing using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Articulate 360.

  • Background in event management and live event coordination.

  • Experience in the learning and development field, including the delivery and operation of learning courses, and familiarity with L&D tools.

  • Proficiency in structuring content for remote learning courses, including learning path creation, SCORM files, and micro courses.

  • Forward-thinking and innovative mindset, always considering “What’s next”.

  • Customer-centric mindset prioritizing user experience.

  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with a team spirit, incorporating feedback from various stakeholders.

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines.

  • Familiarity with virtual communication and learning platforms such as Adobe Connect, Zoom, and MS Teams.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional language skills are a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
