Operator Role - Day Posiiton

8.00am - 4.45pm (Mon - Thursday) & 8.00am - 3.30pm (Friday)

12 month Contract

Lean Logistics Centre Support Coordinator

This role is an operator role and the successful applicant will work with the inventory control team and reprot into the Plant Shipping & Inventory Control Manager.

Job Description:- Roles & Responsibilties - Includes but not limited to

·Support the Shipping & Inventory Control Manager to implement systems identified that will improve Plant material flow and compliance for finished goods, raw materials and engineering items

·Ensure all cycle counts and inventory procedures are adhered to and maintain and distribute Statistic Reports

·Responsible for supporting cycle counts for Pharma, Raw materials, Engineering Stores items, Monomer lab and Offsite Storage facilities and report all cycle count results.

·Co-ordinate docket disposal system for all disposals of Engineering stores stock items / defective raw materials.

·Co-ordinate docket return system for all Inventory returns to vendor for credit.

·Address all queries from Labs, packaging engineers, QA incoming, Supplier Quality, Purchasing, material movers etc. regarding issues with inventory.

·Complete various sundry inventory transactions, e.g. sales, trial/validation material adjustments

·Support daily requirements of LLC/Goods in /Goods out while liaising with Logistics Dept on shipment requirements

·Update Clocking System when required

·Maintain standard documents required by LLC Operations, & maintain training records & curriculums through Compliance wire system for LLC Operations & Material Movers

·Maintain lesson plans for all LLC Operations & Material Movers

·Identify best work practice and ensure all procedures and practices are standardised and all improvements/ changes included into standard work and WI’s.

·Train operators on the use of all LLC and Plant Systems

·Process Returns requests from QA Dept and lens returns from DCs.

Experience & Qualifications

·An ability to train or be developed to train in all aspects of the LLC Operation

·Advanced Excel and exposure to data analysis

·Experience in Inventory Control/Cycle Counting advantageous

·Hold an excellent Time and Attendance Record

·Ability to communicate effectively

·Knowledge of ERPLX, Warehousing & Logistics would be desirable

·A training and development and/or technical qualification would be desirable
