Primary Function

Operate the VizRt graphics system for contribution into live and pre-recorded programs.

Must speak and read Arabic fluently.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and operate the template graphics system and related software’s during on‐air operations.

  • Check daily running order for news and programs.

  • Conduct daily system and software checks.

  • Make needed amendments on uploaded graphics and interactive tools on the graphics server before on‐air.

  • Monitor all graphics played‐out on‐air for any needed edits during on‐air time.

  • Troubleshoot and solve on‐air problems or system failures.

  • Prepare daily status report on defects or system failure.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of programs timing, content and flow.

  • Strong communication skills and good command of English language.

  • Must be a strong speller along with the ability to type quickly.

  • Knowledge of all the roles involved in a studio program.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Knowledge of News & Current Affairs an advantage.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to communicate quickly and effectively.

  • Must have good color vision and good visual acuity.

  • Must be organized and punctual.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in a graphics or media production related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience working within a studio lighting role on live broadcast programming with studio graphics.
