Job Description

Join our dynamic construction project team as a Project Engineer, where you will be responsible for creating a safe work environment, managing project changes, and overseeing the project documentation process. Your role will include managing the submittal process, coordinating inspections, and monitoring project billing. You will ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor under tight project constraints and deadlines.

Top Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

  • One or more years of Construction Project Management related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and project management software

  • Solid numerical and analytical skills for project budgeting and basic estimating

  • Ability to plan and prioritize to achieve high-quality, timely results

  • Dependable and punctual for all work-related commitments

  • Capability to earn respect through construction knowledge and positive problem solving

  • Ability to develop productive relationships with project team, contractors, design teams, and clients

  • Pursuit of related educational and training opportunities for job performance improvement

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position at FEMA Mt. Weather - west of DC (near Bluemont, VA)
