At GDIT, people are our differentiator. In your data business analysis role, your typical day will include:

  • Analysis of customer needs and research on a variety of services.

  • Data analysis of deferent, large, and complex data sources.

  • The use of data to develop Operation Value Streams (OVS) for the discovery of opportunities for service delivery improvements.

  • The formulation of problem statements for the identification of opportunities for service delivery improvements.

  • The identification of data backed Personas associated with services and value streams.

  • Analysis of implemented opportunities to assess their impact on service delivery improvements or increase of customer satisfaction.

  • Support of organizational changes that are required to improve service delivery.

  • Strong communication skills, comfort in public speaking and briefing.

  • Out of the box problem solving.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • A Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Computer science or Information Technology

  • Five (5) years of proven experience in data analysis, data collection, and data presentation, involving large, complex systems.

  • Five (5) years of proven experience in data visualization.

  • Five (5) years of proven experience in data backed decisions that drives organizational change.

  • Proven experience in understanding issues, their associated root cause (the “why” behind the data), and the ability to clearly articulate them to others.

  • Proven experience correlating data to customer needs to derive positive change.

  • Proven experience developing problem statements and data driven Operations Value Streams (OVS) to derive opportunities for service delivery improvements.

  • Understanding concepts of Customer Centric thinking when analyzing User Experience to derive positive change.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must hold an active Secret Clearance

Experience in any of the following is a plus: SAFe/Agile experience; ServiceNow experience; UiPath or the equivalent Automation experience; Organizational Change experience; Predictive analysis experience

The likely salary range for this position is $89,250 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
