Work you'll do

• Background:The government agency is modernizing and leveraging cloud technologies to improve the delivery of agency services while also enhancing its infrastructure capabilities. As part of the effort, the government agency's OCIO is establishing a combined cyber and network vendor supported services contract. The integrated team will provide one common approach to networking and security services. This requirement will be administered centrally to directly support ITOS and Cybersecurity Divisions.

• Description:

• Provide engineering and administration of Azure Cloud services, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Automation, and other services.

• Deploy and maintain VDI platforms including Azure Virtual Desktop.

• Provide engineering and implementation of designs related to upgrades and enhancements involving all IT infrastructure; Servers, Active Directory, DNS, Storage Area

• Networks (SAN), Virtualization, network monitoring tools, and other or new systems.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years' experience engineering solutions in Azure environments. Experience working with Azure Express Routes, Azure Virtual WAN, and Azure Private Endpoints.

• Experience coordinating with other teams and customers to gather requirements and architect a solution to meet the customer requirements in a cost-effective manner.

• Experience deploying enterprise class solution in Microsoft Azure.

• 1+ years' project lead and management experience, demonstrable history of leading successful deployments of enterprise class solutions.

• Skilled at producing technical documents and engineering diagrams.

• Current/active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required.

• Bachelors Degree required.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Location: Telework or remote work acceptable.

Preferred:

• Certifications: AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions.

• Strong written and verbal skills, team focused.
