As a finance consulting generalist at PwC, you will possess a broad understanding of various aspects of finance consulting. The Opportunity
As part of the Financial Markets Business Advisory Generalist team you advise on a broad range of complex transactions involving technical accounting, financial reporting, operational policies, processes, and procedures. As a Senior Associate you analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain standards while building client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context. You are responsible for performing analyzes, research, and documenting complex and emerging accounting, regulatory, and financial reporting topics.
Responsibilities
Advise on complex transactions involving technical accounting and financial reporting
Conduct analyzes and research on emerging regulatory topics
Document findings and provide actionable recommendations
Mentor and support junior team members in their development
Build and nurture client relationships
Maintain standards in deliverables
Develop a understanding of client business contexts
Utilize firm methodologies and tools to solve complex problems
What You Must Have
Bachelor's Degree
2 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
Proven knowledge in advising on complex transactions and technical accounting
Proficiency in financial instruments and valuation estimates
Experience with financial reporting processes and regulatory topics
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage client engagements and adaptability for issues
One or more of the following credentials or certifications is required for promotion to Manager: CPA License in work office state; Levels 1 & 2 of the CFA exam; JD, PhD, MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Tax, Quantitative Statistics, Financial Engineering, Economics, Real Estate Finance or Hospitality; State-Certified Appraiser License*, Member Appraisal Institute (MAI), or completion of requirements for CCIM designation; CHA; or Project Management Professional (PMP)

The salary range for this position is: $82,000 - $204,500, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
