Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies is seeking an individual to act as the Financial Planning and Analysis Lead in the Cyber Division. The position will be responsible for the financial management, review, and forecasting of assigned programs. They will partner with program management, business development and engineering teams to analyze and understand their financial position. The FP&A Lead will be responsible for the Division’s monthly forecasting cycle; prepare quarterly and monthly financial reports, both internal and external as required; validate Actuals from financial systems; support monthly closing activities; and be responsible for project setup and maintenance in the financial systems. The position will have opportunities to present financial reports to Senior Leadership.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for the Division’s monthly forecasting cycle, including building and maintaining Excel models and submitting forecasts into the Hyperion Financial Management tool (focused on Orders, Sales, Cost Base, Operating Income and Free Cash Flow)
Business partnering with Sales & Business Development teams to track incoming new business and generate quotations for customers
Responsible for the maturation and streamlining of the Division’s reporting processes and creation of a Management Information pack for Divisional senior leaders
Developing 13-week cash flow forecasts for the international businesses within the Division
Deputize for Division Finance Lead when required in presenting Division financials to Sector at Weekly Closure calls and Monthly Financial Reviews
Managing the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan cycles
Input into pricing decision making for catalog products and custom software development projects
Ownership of supplemental forecasting deliverables (balance sheet forecast, SG&A forecast)
Performing ad hoc deep dives on key financial drivers (e.g., SG&A expense, working capital)
Management of indirect cost centers and overhead rates
Generating Sales Orders and Invoices in the ERP system
Qualifications:
US Person mandatory
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance desired
Comfortable presenting complex financial information to senior leadership
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Familiar with multi-entity groups, intercompany and consolidations
Hyperion Financial Management or equivalent planning and consolidations tool experience
PeopleSoft Financials and Deltek CostPoint ERP experience preferable
Experience in tech/software/SaaS is beneficial but not necessary
A&D industry experience also beneficial but not necessary
Infrequent international travel may be required as part of this role
