Cognizant Collibra Developer in Washington Dc, District Of Columbia
Responsibilities:
Implement and customize the Collibra Data Governance Platform based on business requirements.
Configure and maintain Collibra workflows, data governance processes, and data quality rules.
Develop integration capabilities between Collibra and various data sources/systems, including on-premises and cloud environments.
Create and configure Collibra DGC meta-model, assets, relationships, domains, and communities.
Implement end-to-end metadata, lineage, and data governance solutions.
Provide production support and resolve system issues.
Collaborate with business SMEs and project partners to develop requirements for data governance, metadata, and data quality.
Contribute to the strategic planning and roadmap for data quality, accuracy, and completeness management.
Basic Requirements:
Overall onsite experience of 10+ years and offshore experience of 5+ years.
Experience with Meta Data Analytics.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Collibra or similar tools.
Experience in Azure.
Nice to have experience with Power BI.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in Azure and database SQLs.
Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, and Unix.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take initiative.
Experience with Scrum and JIRA.
Proven leadership skills and problem-solving abilities.
Motivated to learn new technologies and identify process improvements.
This role typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
