Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for working off the daily schedule to supply assembly, bringing raw materials to a complete finish part, keeping the work area clean and organized, participating in continuous improvements, and promoting good work ethic and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Thorough understanding of detailed part drawings.

• Ability to use precision measuring equipment.

• Knowledge in fixturing and machine setup/breakdown.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience as a machinist.

• Experience with machine operation, general labor, blueprint reading, assembly, mill, lathe, machining, machine operating, calipers, inspection, hand tools, micrometers, and press brake.

• Understanding of CNC, inspection, setup, and changeover processes.

Work Environment

Machine Shop. The work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warwick Rhode Island.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00/hr.
