Site Manufacturing Engineering Manager

As aSite Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will provide leadership, direction, mentoring, and support to the manufacturing engineering, quality, and facilities teams. You will support deployment of best-in-class procedures and processes for Warsaw-based technology products.

What you will do:

  • Collect issues raised during the daily update of production activities via the LDM(s) led by the production department

  • Perform analysis with the methodology of Root Cause Analysis (RCA: Root Cause Analysis)

  • Manage the resolution of non-conformities detected internally with the support of related teams if necessary (production, supplier managers, process)

  • Implements actions to minimize blocked stock levels and scrap while ensuring the accuracy of these stocks

  • Carry out and lead quality/process reviews to share discrepancies and define with the stakeholders the corrective action plan for the achievement of performance indicators (production, supplier managers, process)

  • Analyze customer complaints and implement solutions to avoid re-occurrence of the problems

  • Audit the application of processes

  • Qualify new or revised product processes; work closely with process engineering leading up to the qualification

  • Provide technical support for local manufacturing teams

  • Reduce downtime including an inventory tracking and documentation systems for the facility and equipment

  • Building and site planning, preventative maintenance, and capital upgrades

  • Work closely with EHS

  • Work closely with Global Supplier Performance Management, Global Value Stream Management, Production Management, Global Quality and Process Engineering

  • Build Road Map for site manufacturing engineers and associated workload

  • Prioritize and escalate in case of conflict

  • Participate in supply chain projects and lead action to manufacturing transition

    What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanics or Electronics

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of management experience in electro-mechanical process engineering with at least 3 of those years as a practicing engineer; Minimum of 3 years of experience in process development

  • Experience in processes related to high volume and low volume manufacturing techniques for mechanical parts and electronics

  • Minimum of 3 years in the management of lower-level engineers and technicians and new manufacturing process development

  • Proven engineering experience including a close (and cooperative) working relationship with procurement, manufacturing, vendors, subcontractors, and a good understanding of manufacturing floor requirements

  • Proven Lean implementation experience

  • Experience/training on cross-functional project management processes in matrix organization

  • Previous experience with facilities planning would be an advantage

  • Ability to effectively communicate in Polish and English (B2+ level)
