Analyst Procurement, Indirect Sourcing Europe (Warsaw, remote)

Contract: 12 month contract w. possibility of extension, employment through external agency (Grafton)

Location: remote (with occasional office presence in Warsaw, Poland)

Purpose

You’ll be part of our Global Supply Chain Management team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Indirect Sourcing Europe.

The Job (responsibilities):

  • Analysis:

  • ○ Commodities include MRO, Facilities, Utilities & CAPEX.

  • ○ Support multiple Requests for Proposal’s (RFP's), starting from data/spend analysis to building the actual RFP's, getting internal business approvals.

  • ○ Analyze bids and present results to internal stakeholders.

  • ○ Follow-up with suppliers till completion of contract negotiations and prepare implementation/transition.

  • ○ Coordinate internal approvals according to Corporate Procurement Policies.

  • Supplier Management:

  • ○ Identify existing and potential suppliers capable of meeting requirements, through RFI's (Request For Information).

  • ○ Submits all necessary information to Vendor Master for new supplier setup.

  • ○ Maintain and update purchasing transaction information to allow accurate tracking of supplier performance (Spend Compliance Dashboard).

  • Sourcing & Reporting

  • ○ Work closely with the team to define and implement commodity strategies.

  • ○ Select supplier(s) based on evaluation of quotes and capability.

  • ○ Work with suppliers to meet annual cost savings and working capital gain objectives.

  • ○ Review requisitioner's requirements and assist with needs assessment.

  • ○ Update Productivity and Working Capital performance reports.

  • ○ Keep contract database for contract management up-to-date.

The Person (requirements):

  • Higher Degree: Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing or other relevant; or equivalent through experience

  • Proven working experience in supplier Sourcing, negotiations

  • Understanding of commercial terms and conditions related to procurement of goods and services, experience, and good understanding of supply contracts regarding management of statement of work requirements and supplier deliverables in indirect functions

  • Good management in RFQ, Purchasing Contract, Price negotiation, Weekly report, and Working Capital Extension.

  • Experience in manufacturing & distribution industry is an advantage

  • English language: professional communication

  • IT skills: MS Office, SAP, or other ERP system.

  • Experience in data-analytics / spend-analysis tools such as Sievo is an advantage.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with internal or external partners, team player

  • High level of integrity
