About the role

We are seeking is a highly skilled Business and Data Analysis Manager to join our US Digital and Technology organization at Haleon. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking and business knowledge to provide actionable insights that drive organizational success. This role involves leveraging data to drive business insights, optimize product strategies and support key business decisions across various functions, including marketing, supply chain and sales.

As a Business and Data Analysis Manager , you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support data driven strategies. You will bring a deep understanding of consumer behavior, retail dynamics and CPG industry trends, as well as advanced technical skills in data analysis and visualizations.

Key responsibilities:

  • To work as part of a team providing business context and acting as a trusted advisor

  • Closely working with Business Analyst and connecting with key Business Partners, Subject Matter Experts, Product Owners and Developers to agree and document detailed design and acceptance criteria for both functional and non-functional requirements and project deliverables

  • Data Analysis & Insights Generation : Conduct in-depth analysis of consumer trends, sales data, market performance, and competitor analysis. Identify actionable insights that can optimize marketing campaigns, product assortments, pricing strategies, and distribution plans.

  • Advanced Reporting & Visualization : Create and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar, to provide real-time visibility into key business metrics. Present findings in clear, concise formats for senior leadership and stakeholders.

  • Demand Forecasting & Predictive Analytics : Work with Data Scientists to develop and refine models for forecasting product demand, sales trends, and market growth using statistical methods and machine learning techniques.

  • Consumer Behavior Analysis : Leverage transaction and consumer behavior data to uncover trends, segment customer bases, and recommend strategies for product development, targeted marketing, and retail engagement.

  • Collaboration with Business Units : Partner with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to provide data-driven recommendations for product launches, promotions, inventory management, and pricing strategies.

  • Data Governance & Quality Assurance : Ensure data integrity, consistency, and cleanliness across multiple sources, working closely with data engineers to ensure the reliability of data pipelines and reports.

  • Strategic Decision Support : Provide ongoing analytical support for key strategic initiatives, helping the company make informed, data-backed decisions related to portfolio management, brand performance, and market expansion.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, or FMCG industry.

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for data querying and data extraction.

  • Expertise in data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

  • Proficient in handling large datasets, including familiarity with big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

  • Deep understanding of the CPG industry, including consumer behavior, retail dynamics, pricing strategies, and supply chain management.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to senior stakeholders and business leads, influencing strategic decisions.

  • Ability to identify the underlying causes of business challenges and provide data-driven solutions

  • Solution mindset – a willingness to uncover solutions to challenges

  • Experience translating business requirements into functional and non-functional system requirements and working with the team to produce high-level technical solutions

  • Strong analytical and process-based skills (e.g. process flow diagrams, business and process modelling, data analysis, reporting and visual tools etc.)

  • Strong technical data capabilities, data mapping, including data modelling, SQL, Python, PySpark & Databricks (or other object-orientated programming)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Agile and data development environments

  • Experience of working with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence

  • Experience of working with structured and unstructured data

  • Experience working with, or knowledge of key business area i.e. Net Revenue Management, commercial growth framework, in-store execution and domain datasets

  • Knowledge of sales and distribution processes and surrounding business processes and data

  • Data exploration and mining skill to identify standards and rules

  • Experience working in the Consumer Healthcare Goods industry or Life Sciences

Location: This role is hybrid based in Warren, NJ.

We also offer the opportunity to receive a discretionary bonus based on the achievement of key business performance and other incentive/recognition programs as part of the offering. The salary range for this role is: $141,738 - $194,890 plus an 18% bonus.
