Job Title: Preform Operator

Job Description

Join our dynamic production team as a Preform Operator, where you will handle soft textile fibers and operate automated textile needling machine lines and cutting presses. Your role will be crucial in recording quality measurements to ensure traceability of products, reading and recording process parameters using computer software, and moving cartons of textile material based on the production schedule. You will also be responsible for following strict procedures related to safety, quality, and process engineering, performing level 1 autonomous maintenance on textile equipment, and working collaboratively to meet daily production targets. Additionally, you will operate powered industrial equipment such as a walk-behind lift truck while walking approximately 10,000+ steps per shift.

Work Environment

You will be working in an indoor environment subject to noise, vibration, oils, and other industrial hazards. The role requires vocal communication, hearing, and visual acuity for safety, direction, and the exchange of ideas.
