Job Description

This is a newly-created position within the Finance Transformation Team supporting our Specialty Diagnostics Group (SDG). The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the successful delivery of a variety of Finance Transformation projects and ad-hoc tasks by effectively establishing project plans and a statement of work, handling overall budgets and timelines, as well as partner management and communications. The PM is responsible for moving strategy into action by redefining finance initiatives and priorities into implementation plans.

This role works hand in hand with IT and business functions including Finance, Accounting, Shared Services and Operations. The PM role is the central point of contact responsible for all project-related tasks to be delivered on time and within budget, always keeping the overall quality and business objectives in sight.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Group Finance project/program management process to advance SDG Finance Transformation initiatives.

  • Support the creation of an integrated SDG Group and Division Finance transformation roadmap and manage the intake process for new initiatives

  • Own and build project plans, including targets and achievements, and seeking appropriate project resources.

  • Support the development of quarterly Steering Committee decks and other executive report outs / leadership updates

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the definition of project scope, goals and results.

  • Supervise and report project updates to key partners and stakeholers.

  • Develop cross functional relationships across the organization to drive efficiency in the project approval and execution.

  • Communicate and facilitate issue resolution and/or appropriate customer or partner concern to collaborators, and/or project steering committees as needed.

  • Support ERP, data analytics, and other project implementation for finance transformation.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

  • Strong time management and prioritization abilities, taking ownership and follow up on issues.

  • Experienced in Finance Project management, PPI, JDI, ERP implementation, Jira and Agile methodology.

  • 5+ years of experience in various functions including Accounting, Finance, and Information Systems, or closely related experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., project management, business administration)
