VCA Cottage Animal Hospital located in walnut Creek CA ( east of San Francisco near Concord) , has full time positons available ! We are seeking experienced veterinary technician/VA to join our team.

We are a 2 doctor AHAA hospital that practices a high quality of medicine in a beautiful facility with modern equipment. We pride ourselves with a family like atmosphere with high employee morale.

We are seeking positive and energetic individuals whom are experienced veterinary technicians or assistant. Our goal is to provide gentle and compassionate care to our patients and warm, friendly service to our clients.

We would prefer an applicant who has experience with drawing blood and urine samples, placing IV catheters, taking radiographs, surgical monitoring, preparing prescriptions, and providing client education.

Good communication skills, attention to detail, and multitasking for a fast paced environment for team work is a must.

Physical requirements include being able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, being on your feet for several hours at a time, and bending and squatting during restraint of patients.

We offer a comprehensive benefits plan that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), continuing education allowance, paid holiday and vacation time, and also personal pet care discounts. Wages will be dependent upon experience but can range from $20 to $28 per hour .
