Summary & Role Information

As a (senior) product security engineer in the Product Security Execution Office, you are joining an international organization comprised of security experts driving product and application security topics across different parts of SAP. Your tasks will be on cross-topics around the SAP responsible disclosure process or our Bug Bounty program. Additionally, you will also participate in or lead more generic cross Line of Business initiatives spanning other parts of product security, for example on compliance (ISO 27001), open-source security, architecture or standard requirement work. To succeed in this role, you combine technical security acumen with pragmatic problem solving as well as strong coordination, communication and leadership skills.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor or higher in computer science, cybersecurity or similar. Security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CCSK, CSA etc) are an advantage

• At least 3 years experience in security functions like security operations or secure application development and related processes. AI knowledge is a plus

• At least 6 years experience in development, quality management or support

• Strong coordination/project management skills, quality focus and drive for results

• Strong communication skills and intercultural sensitivity

• Experience with open source security is an advantage

• Experience with ISO 27001 is an advantage

• Understanding of DevOps engineering processes is an advantage
