What youll do

We are searching for a Developer Associate (f/m/d) ABAP with experience in S4HANA to join our team, with plenty of benefits as well as the opportunity to further develop personally and professionally.

In your role as a Developer Associate (f/m/d) ABAP, you will be responsible for the design, coding, testing, and quality assurance in a development team. You will assess and solve issues in new or existing code, and work with high attention to detail, reliability, and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with your team members who will be very supportive for onboarding. In your day-to-day you will:

• work in accordance with the Agile development models (Scrum), which requires you to be self-driven, take decisions independently, and be flexible to cater to the team's demands.

• play an integral role in the entire software development lifecycle where you can take over special roles and responsibilities depending on your strengths and interests

We expect:

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related fields

• Strong programming and analytical skills; first ABAP skills would be beneficial

• willingness to embrace new topics and technologies; demonstrate a can-do attitude

• Familiar with Agile Software Engineering practices and cloud qualities

• Strong desire to overcome obstacles and make your work benefit SAP's customers

• Excellent written and communication skills in German and English language

• Knowledge and track record on deep learning concepts, machine learning, large language and foundation models is a plus

Within SAP Public Cloud ERP Engineering our unit contributes to the next generation of SAP S/4HANA Finance, with a global development organization in Germany, China, and Czech Republic. Our development team in specific develops Contract and Lease Management processes with a focus on Real Estate. We are a team of young developers with various origins, used to work in a hybrid mode.
