Trinity Solar Subcontracts Manager in Wall Township, New Jersey

We are seeking highly motivated and reliable candidates to develop and oversee the procurement of subcontractors. RESPONSIBILITIES As the Subcontracts Manager, you will work closely with several cross-functional teams including Field Operations, Corporate Operations, Roofing, and Legal to deliver an array of services via a third-party network of subcontractors. You will support Installation Managers and RVPS by helping to eliminate market capacity constraints. Specifically, you will: Identify potential new subcontractors and suppliers in Trinity Solars footprint Reconfigure subcontractor onboarding process to be efficient and competitive to industry standards Create system to Support and coordinate new product training and compliance (inverter, racking, storage, roofing) in partnership with Local Operations and Quality Control Create/execute vendor quality score system to support improvement recommendations with the local Installation Manager Manage small team from startup with potential to grow into larger Procurement role Apply project management tools/techniques Build relationships of trust across functions and organizations; collaborate effectively across teams to define strategy, goals and commitment to timelines and deliverables Develop creative and practical solutions based on evaluation of multiple factors QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Ability to develop, implement, and manage processes Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and professionally interact across multiple levels in the organization Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral) Detail-oriented and extremely organized Requires at least four (4) years of relevant experience. Bachelors degree in management, business, or related discipline. A combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to the qualifications listed above and that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
