At our Fortune 1000 diversified energy company, you’ll find a friendly, community-minded environment, with flexible work schedules, opportunities for growth and development, and competitive pay and benefits.New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking an inside sales consultant to provide support to achieve new customer goals, margin and customer satisfaction standards.Major Responsibilities:Manage inbound and outbound marketing and sales callsManage opportunities and create accurate leads, coding and remarks in the Customer Information SystemScreen and qualify new construction, conversion and renewal marketing and sales inquiriesKey contact and resource for marketing program initiatives, examples include: renewal program, generator inquiries, Realtor Program, Employee Lead Program, Community Conversion ProgramProvide market intelligence to assist new program development and initiativesManage, balance and dispatch field work based on customer needs and marketing resourcesProactively initiate activities to ensure high customer satisfaction levelsPosition Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales or related field is preferred3 - 5 years of proven sales experienceOrganized, positive and highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a team environment across business units and professional disciplinesKnowledge of Microsoft Office, mobile devices (iPads) and CRM systems is integral to the role* The above job description is reflective of the primary duties of this position and in no way limits the supervisor from assigning any other duties, responsibilities or initiatives as deemed necessary.All customer information is considered confidential and any employee transferring between New Jersey Natural Gas and NJR Home Services cannot share that information with another New Jersey Resources affiliate and cannot use such information to the benefit of the affiliate or to the detriment of an unaffiliated product or service provider.
