Wabash County Government Human Resource Director/County Coordinator in Wabash, Indiana

Incumbent serves as County Coordinator/HR Director for the Wabash County Commissioners, responsible for coordinating County projects and administering employee benefits and personnel programs and procedures.

Duties include:

Coordinates County activities as directed by Commissioners, ensuring legal compliance. Acts as liaison among department heads, officials, and the public, coordinating projects and resolving issues. Oversees compliance with employment regulations and manages personnel policies. Coordinates with the Auditors Office on employee records, processes employment - related paperwork, conducts new hire orientation, and administers insurance plans. Manages the Personnel Administration Committee and assists with personnel recommendations, insurance claims, inquiries related to the Board of Commissioners. Will oversee vendors and contractors, securing quotes and managing projects
