Shake Shack Training Design Specialist in United States

The Training Design Specialist collaborates with the Training Team and various Subject Matter Experts across the Company to design and maintain various types of Training curriculum for a range of audiences. This role will report to the Sr. Specialist, Training Design and is responsible for the design of engaging training content such as Quick Reference Guides (QRGs), graphics and other visual job aids, videos, e-learning modules as well as print, mobile, and web-based learning assets. The Training Design Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining a consistent brand image and voice across all training content and throughout the LMS platform.

Responsibilities

  • Designing Training content using Microsoft Office programs, Adobe programs and the Articulate Suite: including but not limited to QRGs, training presentations, and other content based around best practices in learning and development. Partners with SMEs on the review process.

  • Executes Training project plans. Develops Interactive Training Content using Articulate Storyline and adult learning theory to develop training material in collaboration with cross-functional Subject Matter Experts. Content includes interactive page elements, as well as videos, narrations and quizzes. Updates materials as needed

  • Produces, films, and edits short educational videos to support training initiatives, including Operational Standards and Best Practices, Limited Time Offerings, and Systems Walk-throughs.

  • Creates visually appealing assets to support Training / Ops initiatives, including Posters, Banners, Build Diagrams and Infographics to help reinforce and promote Standards and key concepts.

  • Maintains consistency of branding, through voice, tone, and visuals. This includes creating visually appealing assets to be leveraged on the LMS, including Thumbnails for training modules and icons for training modules.

  • Supports maintenance of LMS, assessment of training needs and department prioritization, and evaluation of training programs.

Relevant Experience

  • ​ ​ 2+ Years of Shack Management experience or 4+ years of Shack TM experience can replace a bachelor’s degree

  • ​ Proficiency in MS Office Suite

  • ​ Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory and Instructional Design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)

  • ​ Experience with Articulate 360 Suite

  • ​ Experience with Adobe Creative Suite ( Photo Shop Photoshop , Illustrator, InDesign)

  • ​ Strong Attention to detail, Creativity, Excellence in written and verbal communication

  • ​ Ability to connect dots and provide recommendations based on relevant content and projects

  • ​ Ability to work successfully independently and within a t e am environment ​

Bachelors Degree

Location Requirements

East Coast or Texas

Pay Range - $54,830.00 - $88,265.00 *The salary paid to a successful applicant will depend on the applicant’s experience, qualifications, business needs and resources, and the candidate’s location.
