CAE USA INC Support Specialist - Training Solution Execution (TSE) in United States
Role and Responsibilities
The support specialist organizes and implements a variety of responsibilities related to the flow of training materials, services, and associated information. They will support and provide consultation to the program execution leads for upcoming courseware training design and development work. This includes organizing and maintaining program control documents, data, and standards. They will interface with sub contractors and the customer, including but not limited to preparing and presenting documentation.
This role involves support to instructional designers and execution leads in the design and development of training solutions. It will serve dual purpose: organization and maintenance of curriculum data in course control documents and BNH advisor through the lifecycle of the program’s transition-in phase; and standards planning, documentation, and quality assurance support to the Instructional Systems Design team. Duties will include:
Supporting program planning activities and consultation with project leadership in preparation for project execution
BNH Advisor data entry, data organization, and data maintenance
Drafting standards documents and instructional design and development job aids, as well as other documentation and process support activities
Supporting quality assurance and standards enforcement
May be asked to attend customer meetings and training sites in support of training design and development activities
Miscellaneous duties as needed
Our ideal candidate has:
Experience with ADDIE and related training program development activities
Previous experience on Canadian Military Training Programs
Experience developing and documenting writing standards and courseware best practices
Experience reviewing and validating instructional content against standards
Experience organizing data, and/or data entry
Professional degree in a single discipline (education, instructional design, or other relevant field is considered an asset)
Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance with access to NATO secret documents and adhere to ITAR requirements
Fluent in English
Desired skills:
Comfortable with CFITES
Can work autonomously under tight deadlines
Strong writing and communication skills
Comfortable with technology and learning new software (Experience with BNH Advisor and/or Relational Data bases an asset)
Customer service experience an asset
