Staff Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

Job Purpose

  • CQE will work closely with BU/BUQA/Sales/FAE teams and key customer supplier quality management located in Taiwan.

  • Primary job functions include address customer quality related inquiries /data requests, support customer portal inputs, hold quality reviews to improve scorecard rating, and work with global teams across Renesas to drive containment, root cause and corrective/preventive actions.

  • Building good relationships with key customers to well-understanding what customer needs and co-working with Renesas internal team to meet.

  • CQE will work closely with SQE/OSAT team for customer audits requirements (annual audits/8D action audits).

Job Description

  • Strong verbal and written English communication to interact with Malaysia and US teams.

  • Excellent project management and problem solving skills

  • Experienced in Quality systems and tools (8D), and prior experience to understand US and Taiwan customer mindset.

  • General knowledge of IC manufacturing and testing process, with ability to interpret FA and ATE/bench results and data.

  • CQE will support BU/Sales/Distributor for RMA strategy and follow up to eliminate customer quality or line down concern.

  • Excellent organizational and management skills, can work independently.

  • Direct customer facing with CQE skill to solve quality issues and concerns.

Qualifications

  • 8D skills.

  • Quality mindset.

  • Experience in quality methodologies and activity.

  • Understood semi-conductor/IC assembly and testing process.
