Job description

As a Senior Treasury Analyst at Norstella, you will play an important role in maintaining financial stability and growth. Reporting directly to the head of Treasury, your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing cash flow, optimizing our liquidity, and ensuring that every dollar is accounted for and strategically allocated. You will leverage technology and innovative solutions to optimize the global Treasury function, collaborating with partners in London, India, and beyond.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with various departments such as Accounting, AP, AR, FP&A, Tax, and Legal, ensuring best in class support of all stakeholders. Key duties and responsibilities

  • Own daily cash management and funding, facilitating intercompany settlements and payments, potential funding shortfalls, and external interest and fee payments

  • Work with key global banking partners to open and close bank accounts, strategically assess and add products and services to accounts.

  • Supporting Corporate Card administration and management with employees and banks

  • Assist in creating an efficient global cash and banking structure to free trapped cash and ensure proper funding for all entities.

  • Record details of investments such as money markets, repos, and time deposits as well as derivatives such as Interest rate swaps and FX forwards and swaps

  • Develop and document processes, procedures, and controls to support Treasury Operations

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and create reporting on cash, risk metrics, accounting, and debt utilization.

  • Support system and bank portal requests including user access, reporting, system configuration, internal support, and control performance.

  • Assist in strategic planning for Bank RFPs, Insurance renewals, and group financing

  • Support continual improvements and optimization of the Treasury systems landscape, including integrations with other finance systems

Key requirements

  • Demonstrable corporate Treasury experience – in particular, cash management and forecasting

  • Cash positioning and funding in an international multi-currency group Treasury

  • Ability to write clear, thorough, efficient standard operating procedures and controls

  • Comfort with using Treasury systems (Kyriba, Quantum, Integrity, GTreasury)

  • Experience processing payments accurately and timely.

  • Proven success in running ad-hoc projects related to Finance and Treasury

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills interfacing with team members at all levels of the organization

  • The desire to constantly improve the performance of the Treasury team and its profile.

  • Accounting certification (CPA, CMA) and / or a Treasury qualification (CTP).

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $130,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
