The role of the Senior Director, Retail Growth will be responsible for driving the strategy to maximize the commercial competitive advantage for Direct Store Delivery (DSD).

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Drive shopper conversion through retail execution, driving the overall commercial plan for the company at the outlet level

  • Build commercial and selling capability for the US Retail business

  • Drive the short, medium, and long term strategy to maximize the commercial competitive advantage for DSD

  • Oversee scorecarding and measuring of in store execution and learning

  • Oversee commercial digital capabilities such as SalesForce

  • Lead growth driving initiatives such as geographic share growth and outlet level insights to maximize store level growth

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

Job specific requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales preferably in the CPG, retail and/or consumer goods industry

  • Leadership experience gained in a matrixed environment with complex, ambiguous decision making and intensive change agenda

  • Knowledge of various sales models (Warehouse or Direct Store Delivery) experience

  • Well-developed skills in communication and negotiation

  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, empower and inspire a front-line organization to drive impact

Travel requirements:

  • 20-30% domestic travel

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $166,700 to $333,400; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. Company offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, and several others. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
