The SD WAN Technical Professional Product ( Forinet, Velo Cloud) supports the delivery of engineering activities that contributes client technical requirements, deploying optimal networking and connectivity solutions that enable clients and the enterprise to achieve their operational and business goals.

As an incubation team within the SDWAN projects / products we are the first point of contact. Our team is the subject expert on each of our SDWAN products.

What you’ll be doing

  • To provide support during and out-of-hours (on a pre-agreed shift pattern/on-call frame) for a customer or a multitude of customers to restore services;

  • Guide team members and act as a technical reference for them on network or technology discipline in own area of expertise;

  • Handle changes on SSR (Simple Service Request), delivering configuration on Nokia Nuage and Cisco SD-WAN and Velocloud devices;

  • Providing in-depth technical support to customers through monitoring, localization and remote repair;

  • Perform alarms investigations and incident resolutions as required

Experience you would be expected to have

  • Routing protocols

  • SDWAN is an advantage

  • Telecommunications

  • Troubleshooting in WAN / LAN

  • Fluent English language (spoken & written)

  • Understanding on LAN/WAN/WLAN/BGP/MPLS/OSPF/EIGRP/xVPN

  • Troubleshooting mindset
