Job description

The Corporate Partnership Team works within the Corporate Development and Strategy organization, which reports through to the Chief Strategy Officer.

Collectively, the team is responsible for all M&A and corporate partnership activity within the company. As a team, we lead market evaluation and target identification activities, engagement and pre-IOI (indication of interest) diligence, post-IOI confirmatory diligence, Integration planning, and contracting, and finally, onboarding, integration, and post close management activities.

In this role as Manager, Corporate Development - Partnerships, you will support the development and implementation of innovative data and product partnerships that will align with short-, medium-, and long-term commercial goals for the organization as well as Norstella’s strategic roadmap. Our partnership activity is responsible for creating profitable and long-term business relationships that impact all operating business under the Norstella umbrella. Your focus in this role is on achieving results which are aligned with the larger picture of the organization and its strategic goals.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • You will be accountable to drive internal and external customer centric partnerships that impact net new bookings and client retention.

  • You will support and implement winning and innovative partnership strategies and solutions, to serve current product portfolio and/or support corporate NPD strategy.

  • You will display agility and growth mindset across the changing healthcare ecosystem and develop innovative partnership opportunities and/or models to strengthen Norstella’s market position.

  • You will build and implement sustainable partner management plans (incl. mapping, coverage, activities etc.) to establish good relationships with key internal customers.

  • You will establish and maintain a strong professional network with the relevant pharma data authorities, healthcare providers, and other decision-making representatives to anticipate and influence partnership opportunities.

Key requirements

  • A life sciences background with experience of evaluating Real World Data within life sciences companies

  • A successful history of developing and implementing innovative B2B relationships and partnerships, working in a team environment.

  • Track record of securing and managing large-scale corporate partnerships, with a focus on revenue generation and impact.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at a time.

  • Influences and engages others to action and takes accountability on results.

  • Experience in roles that have required a problem-solving orientation and quick decision making in response to changing conditions.

  • Proven ability to foster long term relationships with partners and clients.

  • Action-oriented and collaborative in decision-making.

  • Delegation of details as necessary, with follow-up on timeliness and quality.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $145,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (listed below), successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
