We are seeking an iSeries Support Programmer to join our CPS Host Installation team. Our team provides programming support for existing software enhancements and implements software for our Jack Henry Banking clients. CPS provides ATM, Debit, and Credit card processing solutions and services to financial institutions. This includes stand-in processing, card maintenance, card order processing, as well as other essential functions for a complete ATM/ Debit card program. We provide ATM terminal driving and monitoring, fraud management solutions, as well as card management and award programs. We are the single point of connection for our financial institutions to various national and regional card networks to support transaction routing, authorizations, and settlement. This programmer position can be worked remotely from anywhere in the United States but will require to travel up to 10% of the time and will include extended hours that will include nights and weekends during go-live weeks.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Develops conversion and system implementation plans; implements newly created code and fixes into existing software.

  • Provides programming support for various interfaces.

  • Troubleshoots and debugs existing code.

  • Tests code and fixes to ensure quality.

  • Develops custom programming code for customer service orders.

  • Keeps customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes; may assist the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.

  • Creates all programming documentation; may include defining the system and functional requirements of the product.

  • May complete project bids and/or work effort estimates. Interacts with customers to gather system requirements.

  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

    What you’ll need to have:

  • Must have at least 4 years of programming experience on the iSeries or related IBM OS with RPG.

  • Must be willing to work weekends and evening support as project responsibilities dictate.

  • Must be able to travel up to 10% for trainings and conferences.

    What would be nice for you to have:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in MIS or Computer Science.

  • Experience with EFT and the financial services industry.

  • Strong knowledge of the Turnover Change Management system.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Experience with COBOL mainframe.
