Registered Nurse - MS/Tele Location: Winston-Salem, NC Duration: 13 Weeks Description: REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Year Experience Traveler Experience: Unit WILL Accept 1st time travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias Certs: BCLS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: ACLS, NIH JOB DETAILS: Ratios: 1:5-6. Will accept 13 Weeks *36hrs-48hrs can be offered. SHIFT: 12 HOUR DAYS Float Requirement: Yes. Weekend Requirement: Every Other. PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Renal and limb preservation patients (lower extremity), patients include ESRD, ARF, vascular procedures, CHF, diabetics, diabetic foot ulcer SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Unit is a 41 bed inpatient unit with telemetry capability with a focus on renal and limb preservation patients. Patients who receive hemodialysis will receive treatments in our hemodialysis unit. Peritoneal dialysis patients will receive treatments on the unit with initiation by the dialysis team. Our interdisciplinary team consists of: hospitalist, RN navigator, RNs, NAs, receptionist, dietary, PT/OT, pharmacy. This team meets on a daily basis to ensure best care is provided for our patients.
