Registered Nurse - MS/Tele Location: Winston-Salem, NC Duration: 13 Weeks Description: REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years Traveler Experience: Unit accepts 1st time travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias Certs: BCLS, NIH PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: IV Start JOB DETAILS: Target Ratios: 1:6 Will accept 13 weeks *36 -48 Hours Can be Offered. OT will be reached after 48 hrs. Shift: 12HR NIGHTS Float Requirement: Floating required as needed. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required. PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Patient Population: general medical floor that sees a variety of diagnoses. Adults and Geriatrics. 30 rooms/beds, average daily census 29. This is a fast paced unit. UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR. SCHEDULING TYPE: Self scheduling, confirmed by unit. UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day. SCRUBS: Navy Blue.
