Summary

We are seeking an ambitious, self-driven, strategic Talent Acquisition Partner to conceptualize, develop, and execute new and refresh existing recruiting strategies targeted at identifying, hiring, and retaining exceptional candidates to meet and exceed the high-volume hiring needs of a selective, well-respected, successful, and expanding system of early childhood education schools. The individual will use their knowledge of business operations, program operations, and human resources practices to develop, promote, and implement strategies and programs that align with the company’s culture, mission, vision, and values and drives talent acquisition’s capabilities to meet and exceed organizational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and grow a pipeline of potential candidates through proactive market analysis, data insights, and new and established on-going relationship management.

  • Develop and execute talent sourcing plans, finding diverse candidate pools to attract appropriate talent now and create programs and pipelines for future hires.

  • Implement and utilize analytics to determine KPIs and other metrics to drive success.

  • Design, plan, and execute on employer recognition and branding activities in the recruiting space.

  • Partner with Human Resource Managers, Business Operation Managers, and Directors to develop and implement sourcing strategies to support difficult-to-fill positions and areas.

  • Find and solve for bottlenecks in the recruiting process.

  • Engage with candidates from initial contact, through prescreening, interviewing, offer, and hire processes to create positive candidate experience.

  • Support hiring managers through a candidate’s pre-employment process to ensure swift, smooth, and favorable encounters.

Key Projects

  • Develop and foster relationships with colleges, universities, and other sources of candidates to position The Malvern School as a desired employer.

  • Source and develop relationships with passive candidates to promote The Malvern School as the employer of choice utilizing our ATS, Indeed, Handshake, and other recruiting resources.

  • Maintain relationships with former employees to continue positive relations to position The Malvern School as a desired employer/re-employer.

  • Suggest measures for improving candidate engagement and employee retention.

  • Review and action on new hire and exit survey results.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2+ years of successful progressive experience in strategic proactive Talent Acquisition or similar role.

  • Experience with social media networking, college and university relationship building, and creative sourcing techniques to establish and grow strong candidate pipelines is required.

  • Experience with or thorough knowledge of Early Childhood Education strongly preferred.

  • Travel up to 25% to job fairs, recruiting events, colleges and universities in southeastern PA, NJ, and surrounding areas, etc.

  • Critical thinker with exceptional problem-solving and time management skills.

  • A resourceful, strong communicator with a passion for people who can operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong knowledge of Human Resources laws.
