Required educational background or certification Degree in Computer Science, Business degree
Preferred educational background or certification Scrum Master Certification is preferred

The Scrum Master serves as the liaison between the business and the software engineering team.
This role helps scrum teams reach peak productivity by facilitating Scrum ceremonies, assisting the Product Owner with maintaining a healthy and actionable backlog, identifying and addressing and resolving roadblocks, tracking progress, and identifying and acting on opportunities for continuous improvement.
The Scrum Master also plays a critical role in the adoption of Scrum and other agile development practices by the organization.
It also will play a crucial role in connecting the team to the SAFe processes and deliverables, coordinating across multiple teams and time zones to help ensure deliverables and dependencies are talked about and met.
The Scrum Master acts as a Servant Leader and helps drive accountability of the team and improvements to the team while defending the team.
Facilitate Scrum routines and corresponding with management as needed
Work with the Agile team to remove impediments
Managing the Agile Tool for tracking work (JIRA or Rally)
Manage governance routines - and provide coverage for Release Management
Integrate with project, technology and business partners to manage the projects and be proactive in gathering status updates from partners, while minimizing impact
Execute on Enterprise Change Management requirements
Facilitate communication, influence and negotiate both vertically and horizontally to obtain agreement between partners
Ability to lead and influence team in adopting the Agile principles
High level of credibility with executives and business partners; demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and drive to results
Able to work independently with limited supervision
Acts as single point of contact for all things around the project.
Manages timelines and communicates project status.
Builds positive relationships with stakeholders.
Escalates risks and issues even if team disagrees.
Serve as a liaison between the product owners and development team to ensure that all targets and requirements are met
Facilitating productivity by removing impediments team will encounter, mediating through conflicts, helping team to make decisions and adhering to continuous improvement principles
Coordinating across other agile teams for complex projects
Leveraging data to measuring monitoring progress (Burndown charts etc..)
Helping teams adhere to the Definition of Done.
Facilitate team's self-organization and growth
Encourage discussion, conflict resolution, alternatives or different approaches
Help mitigate distractions and increase the team's focus
Review and confirm the appropriate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals are assigned
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
Build, develop, and grow any partner relationships vital to the success of the project
Understanding of Scaled Agile and Lean Practices
High level understanding of Client Enterprise Change Standards is a plus IT experience. Jira is highly preferred.
Domain Knowledge in GTO.
Existing experience with the Client Change Management Framework, Change Scape, PPRT, OneNote, SharePoint and FileNet is desired but not required.
Ability to build relationships across the enterprise with Lines of Businesses, Technology, and Business where relevant Takes ownership of day to day issues and escalations and brings issues to resolution Experience in working in large global complex matrix organizations
