Summary Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on their expertise as a Plant Mechanic. Duty Location: Glendo, Wyoming and Seminoe Dam, Wyoming For living conditions go to: https://www.usbr.gov/gp/employment/living_conditions.pdf Responsibilities Monitors and performs mechanical maintenance, including application of mechanical theory for a hydro-electric power plant with a generating capacity up to 200 megawatts. Operates cranes, hoists, industrial tractors, incidental to lifting, moving, dismantling, assembling, overhauling, or repairing of plant machinery and related equipment. Dismantles, reconstructs, repairs, tests, and performs preventive maintenance on turbines, generators, motors, pumps, educators, valves, pipes, penstocks, intakes, spillways, outlet works, domestic water systems, sewage systems, hydraulic systems, etc. Operates high voltage switches and related devices to implement the switching program set up by the operations supervisor. Interprets and applies drawings, standard operating procedures, and manufacturer's instructions. Requirements Conditions of Employment You must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
