Howmet Aerospace Operational Technology & Automation Senior Manager in United States

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operational Technology & Automation Sr Manager to join our team. The Operational Technology & Automation Sr Manager will be responsible for Creating a world class technology strategy create world class technology strategy, technical package, acquisition and implementation. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Identify and secure necessary resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, required for project completion. capital expenditure projects from initiation through to completion. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans for operational technology deployment and development, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management plans.

  • Plan, execute, and finalize capital expenditure projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.

  • Create world class technology strategy, technical package, acquisition and implementation.

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Identify and secure necessary resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, required for project completion.

  • Manage project budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects are completed within budgetary constraints on time and to standard.

  • Develop and execute technology, robotics, automation and AGV roadmap (1–to-5-year plan).

  • Conduct post-project evaluation and analysis to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

  • Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing issues or risks that may impact project timelines or objectives.

  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and achievements.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Six Sigma or Lean Certification Black Belt Certification preferred

  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on capital expenditure projects within a similar industry or sector.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards relevant to capital expenditure projects.

  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.

Salary: The salary range for this position is $98,000 - $126,000 annually
