The Hershey Company Manager, IS Communications-Security Education and Awareness in United States

Job Location: Hershey, PA Please note, this role can be remote The Manager of Communications in Information Security oversees developing and implementing a comprehensive communication plan that aligns with the vision, mission, and objectives of the Information Security department. The Manager of Communications in Information Security will collaborate with the Director of Governance, Risk and Compliance and other senior leaders to create and communicate clear, consistent, and engaging messages to internal and external audiences, such as employees, customers, partners, and regulators. The Manager of Communications in Information Security will also manage the development and upkeep of various communication channels and platforms, such as newsletters, websites, and events. Furthermore, the Security Education and Awareness program. * What You’ll Be Doing:* * Develop and implement a strategic communication plan that aligns with the Information Security department's objectives and priorities. * Create and manage a communication calendar that ensures timely and relevant communication to various audiences. * Write, edit, and produce high-quality and compelling content, such as, articles, blogs, white papers, and presentations on current Information Security topics. * Coordinate and collaborate with other communication teams across the organization to ensure alignment and consistency of messaging and branding. * Plan and execute internal and external communication events, such as webinars, workshops, conferences, and in person speaker events. * Measure and report on the effectiveness and impact of communication activities and initiatives. * Provide communication guidance and support to the CISO and other senior leaders. * Manage the Security Education and Awareness program to ensure relevant up to date training is provided to employees. * Develop training programs for high risk user groups within the organization. * Assist the Director, Governance, Risk and Compliance with developing a best in class social engineering program. * Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in communication and information security. * Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:* * Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, or related field. * 5+ years of experience in communication, preferably in information security or technology. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and channels. * Strong knowledge and understanding of information security concepts, principles, and practices. * Creative and innovative thinker, with the ability to generate and execute new ideas. * Experience in managing communication projects and events, from planning to execution. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. * Attention to detail and quality, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver results. * Certification in communication, information security, or related field is a plus.
