    Summary

Assists and supports the Global 6500 Program Manager and the Director of Training in complying with contractual registrar requirements of the contract Statement of Work. The Registrar Lead Administrator will support the Operations cell and provide direction to the personnel assigned to Operations. Responsible for registrar coordination and customer support. Performs liaison function between Program Manager, the Customer, Instructors, and support staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs Registrar tasks using MS Word, Excel, and other systems to include Gemini, Stars ,and Centrik.

  • Manages the day to day functions and activities of operations to include scheduling of personnel, simulator and flight instructors.

  • Manages agenda and meeting calendars

  • Ensures all incoming students have the proper paperwork and student training packets.

  • Coordinates logistical support for the Dothan Training Center.

  • Ensures that all student records and reports are processed and recorded in an organized and logical fashion

  • Produces and maintains all records for the Flight Instructor to include sending the records and form 8710-1 to the FAA.

  • Creates and maintains databases

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent General Education Development (GED) certificate.

  • Willingness to attend a external training on specific use of software.

  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted for formal education).

  • Ability to provide supervision and manage personnel in a flight operations and scheduling environment.

  • Must have a comprehensive understanding of a flight simulation program to include scheduling and registration functions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to analyze complex documents.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Must be an enthusiastic, energetic and self-motivated with strong work ethic.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to work well with others.

  • Excellent customer service skills and proactive initiative in handling customer service issues

  • Very detailed oriented.

    Security Responsibilities

    Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

    • Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

    Work Environment and Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Work in a regular office environment; communicate via personal computer, telephone and fax.

  • Will be working in areas with risk of electrical shock from moving mechanical parts driven by hydraulics under high pressure.

  • Will at times be exposed to the following conditions: flight line.

  • Ability to walk and/or climb stairs and ladder into a simulator or airplane cockpit.

  • Ability to stoop, bend, and crawl on top of or under machinery.

  • Ability to detect odors or hear noises, bangs, etc., or other sounds to detect problems or flaws in the functioning of simulators and its surrounding environment.
