Zelis Junior NOC Analyst-1 in United States

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network performance and ensure the availability of all network components.

  • Respond to alerts and incidents in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

  • Identify and resolve network issues, both proactively and reactively.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.

  • Document and track incidents, ensuring that they are resolved within established service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Communicate effectively with end-users and stakeholders during incident resolution.

  • Monitor network security systems to detect and respond to security incidents.

  • Implement security measures to safeguard the network infrastructure.

  • Manage and maintain network configurations.

  • Implement changes and updates to network devices as needed.

  • Identify opportunities for improving network performance and efficiency.

  • Work on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall network reliability.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams, vendors, and service providers to address network-related issues and implement changes.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for network-related incidents.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 Yeas relevant experience in NOC

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+.

  • Proven experience in network administration and troubleshooting.

  • Knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
