Movn Health Insurance Coordinator in United States
Summary:
As Movn's Insurance/Referral Coordinator, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties to include verifying and communicating patients eligibility and benefits for the Movn program, referral processing, medical record processing, communication with referral sources and other tasks as assigned. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute towards ensuring patients get high-value and timely care.
This will include:
Verifying insurance information for new and existing patients
Calculating patients estimated out-of-pocket costs (including but not limited to eligibility, copay, deductible, estimated cost)
Responsible for the tracking, coordination, and obtainment of patient referrals to our cardiac rehab, RPM and CCM programs
Patient chart creation
Assembles information concerning the patient's clinical background and referral needs
Contacts insurance companies to ensure verification of benefits and prior authorization approval requirements are met
Ensures that referrals are addressed in a timely manner
Follow up with physician offices in regards to referrals and medical records
Qualifications
2 years experience in insurance verification, patient benefits
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid
Excellent communication skills to interpret and relay benefits effectively
Experience with patient referrals and medical records
EMR experience
(Preferred, not required)
- Cardiology or Cardiac rehab administrative experience
