Under the direction of the Partner/Senior Manager leading the Community Health service area, the FQHC Manager is focused on leading services delivery to clients, developing project workplans and scoping, and/or managing associates, all in accordance with firm guidelines, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess FQHC needs through document research, interviews, and observations; articulates client challenges in clear and accessible ways.

  • Develop project scopes and workplans to simplify complex projects.

  • Examines complex federal and state healthcare regulations to understand FQHC compliance and reimbursement requirements.

  • Provide day to day project management for budget tracking, timeline, and subject matter expert utilization.

  • Review work completed by other associates; effectively integrates separate contributions into a coherent whole client deliverable.

  • Informs others of costs, quality, schedule, and risk within the engagement parameters.

  • Relates all work back to financial outcomes by including detailed review in every project, generally captured in profit/loss projections.

  • Perform detailed and quantitative examination of client source data to spot patterns, trends, and dynamics to inform strategy that goes beyond surface level problems.

  • Contributes to business development by collaborating with opportunity leaders ; proactively seeks referrals, prospects, and cross-selling opportunities.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; Master's degree in related field, such as MPH, MPA, or MBA preferred.

  • Exposure and comfort with analytics and project management.

  • 5+ years’ experience in a professional services firm, healthcare, or equivalent.

  • Training, support or consulting advisory experience preferred.

  • Past work experience in Community Health, especially FQHCs, preferred

  • Ability to scope, plan, and budget for projects, while prioritizing and organizing work under pressure to meet budget and time deadlines.

  • Time management skills and ability to facilitate multiple concurrent priorities.

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

  • Effectively communicate complex technical and business concepts to a diverse audience of stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to work West Coast hours.

    Wipfli supports equal pay for equal work and values each candidate’s unique experiences and skill sets. The estimated pay range for this position is: $80,000 to $140,000. Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.Wipfli cares about our associates and offers a variety of benefits to support their well-being.
